North Queensferry is a quaint village in Fife, Scotland, situated between two iconic bridges: Forth Bridge and Forth Road Bridge. It lies at the Southern end of the Fife Coastal Path, which runs for some 100 miles, connecting former fishing villages and seaside towns.
It has a population of roughly 1,000, and borrows its name from Saint Margaret of Scotland, a former wife to the late King Malcolm II of Scotland, who reportedly established the village as a connection point for ferries.
Previously named one of the best places to live in Britain, it offers wonderful architecture and an abundance of natural beauty. From a visit to the North Queensferry Harbour Light Tower, to a boat tour along the Firth of Forth, there’s plenty to see and do nearby.
In keeping with the look and feel of the village, many of the serviced apartments in North Queensferry are cottages, and exude a traditional charm, perfect for a peaceful break.
