Leighton Buzzard is situated in the county of Bedfordshire, between the cities of Milton Keynes and Luton. It has a long history, first being mentioned in the Domesday book in the 11th century.
The city has been host to major industrial companies in the past, including B/E Aerospace (Aircraft Interiors), Polyformes, Lipton Tea (which has now closed down), Gossard and Lancer Boss.
One of Leighton Buzzard’s major landmarks is the All Saints Church. It is a 13th century church that has a 190ft spire and is known locally as the cathedral of South Bedfordshire. Some famous former residents of the town include Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, Darren Gough and Bob Monkhouse.
Leighton Buzzard is very close to the M1 motorway, meaning that it's easy to travel to London or Leeds from the city. The majority of the serviced apartments Leighton Buzzard has to offer are near transport links of some kind.
