Knutsford is located in Cheshire East between the Peak District and the Clwydian Range in Wales. It is also 12 miles south west of Manchester, 25 miles east of Liverpool and 11 miles north west of Macclesfield. Just outside of the town is a large Barclay’s office providing several IT employment opportunities. The town centre offers a range of art galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs.
Many people live in Knutsford and commute to Manchester on a daily basis for work. Knutsford has easy access to the motorway with junctions to the M6 and M56. The main railway station in the town is Knutsford railway station providing services, via Altrincham, from Chester to Manchester. The nearest airport is Manchester Airport, just five miles from Knutsford. It is, however; only accessible via the motorway meaning there are no bus or rail services.
