Nice is situated on the South East coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea. It is the second most popular city in the country when it comes to tourism, primarily because of its close proximity to the Alps, attracting over 4 million tourists annually. Nice is home to several business parks with businesses focusing on technology, biotechnology, computing and electronics. The European headquarters of W3C is also situated in the city.

The city is home to a range of popular sights including Place Rossetti, which is full of restaurants as well as being the location of the cathédrale Saint-Réparate. The city’s most popular destination is the Promenade des Anglais, located on the coastline, which provides locals and visitors with a sandy beachfront along the Mediterranean. Nice is served by the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, the third busiest airport in France, which provides connections to international cities including New York, London and Dubai.
