Lille is located in northern France and has a population of around 226,827. Just 15 minutes away from the city centre lays Lille Lesquin International Airport, which sees over a million passengers each year and serves destinations including Barcelona, Venice and Lyon.
Lille is also accessible from London via the high-speed Eurostar and Paris is only 1 hour away thanks to the French TGV network. Transport around the city itself is provided by an extensive bus and tram network as well as their driverless metro system.
With several districts, Lille is home to a variety of popular attractions such as an array of stylish shops and restaurants as well as the modern Notre Dame Cathedral, a range of museums and a famous outdoor market, otherwise known as La Braderie. Both Lille’s largest shopping centre, Euralille, and the city’s streets, just past Grand Place, are home to a variety of popular highstreet shops and brands.
