The Royal Opera House, often referred to just as “ROH”, is one of the most well-loved performing arts venues in central London. Known for its Corinthian columns and stately façade, the ROH is a Grade I listed building found in the centre of Covent Garden.
Originally built as early as 1732, the current building is actually the third theatre on that particular site following catastrophic fires in 1808 & 1856. Now a gleaming modern landmark, the venue is as safe as it can possibly be.
With events spread over four distinct seasons, the ROH provides something for everyone. Offering everything from opera to ballet and cinema, it’s well worth checking out what’s on before your visit to London.
