Natural History Museum

Exhibiting over 80 million items within five main collections that range from botany to zoology, Kensington’s stunning Natural History Museum is one of London’s most iconic tourist draws.

A site of interest for many tourists, the museum even caters to particular areas of study such as entomology and mineralogy. Undeniably, however, the institution is most famous for its palaeontology displays.

The museum itself is an architectural marvel that was built in 1881 during the height of the Victorian era. Found on Exhibition Road, it is an integral part of the city’s Museum District which also includes the Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
