Wednesday 16th October was World Food Day; here’s what SilverDoor got up to…
Our global teams united to deliver a World Food Day to remember, serving up delicious cuisine from around the world with plenty of Michelin-star worthy dishes. We enjoyed over 47 homemade recipes across our seven offices - all to raise money for our elected charity of the year, the Rainbow Trust.
With recipes from over 20 countries on display, we thought what better way to showcase our efforts than with a run-through of our favourites from the day.
Here are some of the highlights:
SilverDoor's headquarters brought in a beautiful selection of food, so tasty that within the hour there was nothing left!
Our Singapore office went all out, bringing food and drinks only found locally, as well as family recipes.
Our Lancaster team brought a variety of dishes, many inspired by family members cooking and previous collegues favourite recipes!
The Madrid team shared many traditional dishes and enjoyed a tapas lunch together with pancakes for dessert!
Last but not least, our Denver office had many treats from across the globe, including a special visit from Marcus!
We had some amazing dishes and it was great to see so many SilverDoorians getting involved to raise money for charity.
