Embarking on a recent FAM (familiarisation) trip to Manchester, I experienced this all myself on a stay to remember with not one, but two of our property partners; SuperCity and Roomzzz. These trips are vital to ensuring our portfolio maintains its standards, allowing us to consistently make well-matched and considered accommodation recommendations. Not only were we treated to an evening of fun, food, and games in the eminent Manchester city centre, we were also able to stay in some of their finest Manchester serviced apartments and further connect with our partners.

SuperCity Church Street Aparthotel Manchester:
My stay in one of the SuperCity Church Street two-bedroom apartments offered up the perfect opportunity to embrace city life. Staying on the 18th floor, our apartment offered incredible views of Manchester’s cityscape, particularly as night fell.
Staying right in the hub of the stylish Northern Quarter, we were right by our chosen activities for the night, with lots of quirky eateries and nightlife spots nearby. On top of this, the nearest tram stop was just a short walk away, allowing us to reach the rest of the city effortlessly
The apartment itself was spacious, with floor to ceiling windows in both the bedrooms and the living space emphasising the open space. The bathroom was contemporary chic, and like the rest of the apartment, cleaned and prepped to the highest standard. The apartment came with a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, and all the crockery you could possibly need for your stay. While our stay was brief, we were informed that housekeeping is available to guests on a weekly-basis, and that we had access to on-site laundry facilities, free of charge.
As soon as we arrived, I felt safe and at ease. We were welcomed by staff at the 24-hour reception who pointed out additional facilities such as the Church Street parking and on-site fitness centre.
Spending the night was blissful. Each room came with its own smart TV on top of the main smart TV in the living room. The beds were both spacious and comfortable, a real home away from home.
The SuperCity Church Street apartments are ideal for both long and short stay business travellers wishing to immerse themselves in bustling city life.

Roomzzz Manchester Victoria:
Staying at Roomzzz Manchester Victoria proved to be the perfect little haven in one of my favourite cities. The studio apartment was just right for a solo visitor and offered everything I needed for a comfortable trip away. The cleanliness was immediately evident—every surface was spotless, from the well-maintained furnishings to the pristine bathroom and kitchen area.
Security also felt reassuringly robust, with keycard access controlling entry to floor corridors, the lift, and individual rooms. The 24/7 reception team were friendly and accommodating, ensuring I had a pleasant stay right up until check-out. My double bed struck a lovely balance between cosy and firm, guaranteeing I had a restful sleep, while the fully equipped kitchen (including a microwave) made it easy to feel at home. I particularly enjoyed the coffee table and lounging area by the window, which overlooked a square outside the Arndale Centre—close enough to soak up the city vibes without being disturbed by bright lights or too much noise. No main roads in sight!
Although the grand, winding stairwell added a touch of elegance, I appreciated the convenience of the lift to reach my third-floor room.
Best of all for me was the location: just two minutes from Victoria Station, placing me right in the heart of Manchester. With shops, cafés, and restaurants on the doorstep, there was no time wasted getting my day started.
