After a record-breaking year, a successful acquisition, and a recent relocation to a brand-new office space... Our APAC team is now announcing some more great news; In the form of Helen Yang, who has recently been appointed as our new Business Development Manager.
Helen, who has an accomplished background in hospitality sales and has established great industry relationships throughout the years, will lead the development of direct corporate business. Her background includes studying Hotel and Tourism Management at The Industry School for Culinary and Hospitality Talents, and most recently Helen had the role of Assistant Director of Sales for Oakwood Studios Singapore.
SilverDoor’s Vice President of Business Development, Pauline Houston, said: “Helen’s role represents an important next step in SilverDoor’s global evolution. Hiring Helen was the next step for the Singapore team, after a record-breaking year thanks to the successful onboarding of several new global clients from the financial services and technology sectors, coupled with pent-up demand for travel following the pandemic and healthy demand for relocation accommodation. This all came alongside an office relocation to The Capital Square by The Executive Centre, which boasts state-of-the-art technology capabilities matching those of SilverDoor’s group of international offices.
“Our new space reflects where we are as a business right now. It has sufficient room for all our current staff, can comfortably accommodate visits from international colleagues and - most importantly - allows us room to further expand our team, a perfect example can be seen with the addition of Helen.” said Sophie Brinsley, Vice President of APAC.
