SilverDoor Apartments Hosts First Singapore Networking Event
22nd May 2018

Earlier this month we were excited to host our first Singapore property partner networking event to celebrate the continued success of our relationships in the region.

The event brought together 30 of our partners from Singapore for the first time since we opened our APAC headquarters in September 2016.

Amongst the attendees were representatives from The Ascott Limited, Frasers Hospitality, Darby Park Executive Suites, Pan Pacific Singapore, Great World Serviced Apartments, Far East Hospitality, Treetops Executive Residences and Oakwood.

The event took place at Singapore’s Barnacles bar in Customs House, which overlooks Marina Bay. Our Commercial Director, Stuart Winstone, flew out especially for the event, and opened the night with a special introductory speech.

“This event was the first of its kind, and a great opportunity to get many of our APAC property partners together. The feedback from those present was that they really enjoyed having the opportunity to meet people they hadn’t met before and network with other serviced apartment professionals.” said Stuart.

Also in attendance were SilverDoor APAC Director, Sophie Brinsley, APAC Partner Account Manager, Eric Sin, Client Account Support, Xrislynn Ng, and Group Head of Partner Relationships, Alison Makosz - who, all the while, was carrying out apartment inspections in Singapore and Malaysia.

It’s been roughly 18 months since we launched our APAC headquarters in Singapore. During that time, SilverDoor’s presence in the region has grown steadily and a huge part of this success is down to our close relationships with our property partners. Our APAC team have also been working tirelessly, handling our clients’ enquiries and increasing the range of apartments available. We’re continually expanding in the region, and look forward to seeing all of our property partners at future events.
