Gamesa, the Spanish wind turbine manufacturer, has announced plans to set up its centre for offshore engineering in Glasgow and establish a logistics and manufacturing centre in Dundee, creating up to 300 jobs in total. Meanwhile, Scotland’s oil industry – which provides a large number of jobs in other cities, such as Aberdeen – shows no signs of slowing down. As they become increasingly popular corporate travel destinations, all of Scotland’s major cities – including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen - have seen a growth in demand for serviced apartments.

The serviced apartment industry in the country is growing rapidly and we have no reason to believe that it will slow down.

As the capital city of Scotland, the seventh largest city in the United Kingdom, and the city with the second highest gross value added per employee figure of any city in the UK (after London), Edinburgh has a great deal to offer businesses. The city’s economy is largely based on the services sector, in particular banking, financial services, higher education, and tourism. We also experience a great deal of demand for serviced apartments in Glasgow. As Scotland’s largest city, and the third most populous city in the UK, it is not surprising that Glasgow attracts companies from across the world.
