The SilverDoor boys are extremely competitive when it comes to football so when Parkside Recruitment invited them to play in the Business Cup football tournament, they jumped at the chance.

Parkside is a recruitment business specialising in office professionals and the accounting/finance sector. They decided to put on a tournament to provide an opportunity for local companies to network and showcase their incredible footballing talent. The Business Cup involved 22 teams which were split into four groups and only the top two teams of each group progressed into the quarter final.

The whole team played extremely well and a special mention goes to the team captain, Eddy O’Brien, who scored a total of 17 goals during the evening. We are extremely pleased to announce that SilverDoor won the tournament and are now the proud holders of the Business Cup trophy.

It was a great event and the idea of combining something fun like football with a networking opportunity worked really well. Well done Parkside for putting on such a fantastic evening and well done SilverDoor boys for such a great win!
