One Commercial Street Apartments in London
19th May 2014

We were recently invited to One Commercial Apartments, which are located above Aldgate East underground station. We were excited to visit these apartments, as every one of them are above the 17th floor, providing as much privacy as one could wish for. As the apartments are located high above a tube station, we only had to walk for a minute to get to the reception of the building. Here we were greeted by a receptionist, who is scheduled to stay on until 7.30pm, 7 days a week, providing leeway to anyone who needs to check-in after working hours.

On arrival, we were treated to pizza, cake and a glass of wine – it was an evening viewing after all. The one thing you instantly notice about the apartments is that they’re spacious, modern and provide amazing views of the city. All apartments come with integrated Siemens appliances, well-equipped kitchens with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, pristine bathrooms and king size beds to make your stay as comfortable as possible. But it’s the little additions that take personalisation one step further. Instead of dry pigeon holes, most apartments come with wine cooling fridges that seamlessly fit in to the décor. An iPod docking station is also provided, with the apartment’s music system and Freeview readily available.

On the night, we viewed 1 studio, 8 one-bed apartments and 3 superior one-bed apartments, and we were impressed with the quality, the space, the facilities, the location and the amazing views each of them provided - there’s a really high standard set throughout the property. When the only criticisms you have with the apartments is temporarily being unable to locate the oven button and thinking the TVs in the bedrooms are a bit too small, they must be doing something right.
