On 26th April the London Marathon hits the streets of the capital for the 36th edition of the 26.2 mile road race. Last year 750,000 people lined the streets to see the likes of Mo Farah tread the world famous route and similar crowds are expected this year with current London Marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe competing for the last time of her glittering career.
With a sprawling route which winds through a number of London’s boroughs, we’ve put together a map that shows the location of some of our London serviced apartments in key positions along the course. We’ve also thrown in some interesting facts about the marathon for good measure – did you know the oldest person to have run the London marathon was 93 years old?!
