Located in central London, Kensington is a popular choice for corporate travellers. As a residential area with many of London’s most famous museums and parks, Kensington offers the perfect balance between work and play.

Businesses in the area

Kensington is home to a variety of notable organisations. The head office of the media giant, Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) is located in Kensington’s Northcliffe House, sharing the building with some of Britain’s other media organisations such as the Independent.

As well as more traditional retail businesses, Kensington is populated with many of London’s famous museums and public buildings including the Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall.

Most of Kensington is served by three Zone 1 tube stations: High Street KensingtonGloucester Road and South Kensington. All three are on the Circle and District line; connecting them to London's main railway terminals and the City. The Piccadilly line also links South Kensington and Gloucester Road to the West End in about ten minutes and in the other direction to Heathrow Airport in about forty minutes.

A number of local bus services link Kensington into the surrounding districts. The key hubs are High Street Kensington and South Kensington stations. If you need to venture more often into other areas, don't forget that we offer a wide range of serviced apartments in London - give us a call and we'll gladly help you find the ideal location for your stay.
