Transport
Kensington has a strong transport infrastructure, meaning travel to both East London and Heathrow airport is quick and easy.
The A4 (also known as Cromwell Road) is an important link between London’s Heathrow airport and central city locations, allowing travellers to move quickly between the east and west.
Most of Kensington is served by three Zone 1 tube stations: High Street Kensington, Gloucester Road and South Kensington. All three are on the Circle and District line; connecting them to London's main railway terminals and the City. The Piccadilly line also links South Kensington and Gloucester Road to the West End in about ten minutes and in the other direction to Heathrow Airport in about forty minutes.
A number of local bus services link Kensington into the surrounding districts. The key hubs are High Street Kensington and South Kensington stations.
