Here at SilverDoor Apartments we believe in never placing our clients in an apartment that we wouldn't stay in ourselves, thus we try to personally visit as many apartments in our extensive portfolio as possible. It's especially important for our account management team to view apartments first-hand, so they can tailor specific recommendations for guests to best suit their requirements. Staying in an apartment ourselves means we can gain invaluable insights into information you can't get from an image: how loud the area is, how easy the commute is, or how comfy the bed is.
We work closely with our property providers to ensure we are always kept up to date with new openings, refurbishments and any property updates: this verifies that the information on our website is always accurate. We are regularly invited by our partners to view new developments so they can show off their property and we can experience first-hand what we might be offering our clients. Andrew, and some others from the SilverDoor team, recently went to stay at Native Monument Apartments and wanted to detail their visit; read on to see what Andrew thought of his visit.
We were recently invited to view Go Native’s newly refurbished Native Monument Apartments that are just a two-minute walk away from Monument tube station. We were aware that they’d be offering the chance for guests to stay in a studio, one-bed or a two-bed apartment, so we were looking forward to the mix of accommodation we’d be seeing to add to our range of serviced apartments in London. We were also given the opportunity to view the premium studios, which aren't too dissimilar to the standard studios. They did, however, increase in size, which is one of the main reasons for upgrading.
All of the apartments were fitted with built-in air conditioning and were finished to a very high standard. The whole team were impressed with the attention to detail and were complimentary about the design. The amount of light and colour in the apartments makes them feel bigger than they are, and a number of apartments even offer spectacular views of The Shard, the “Walkie Talkie” building and HMS Belfast etc. The kitchens had a touch of luxury with marbled work tops, a toaster, kettle, oven etc. with many other modern appliances that make your stay that little bit easier.
The two bedroom apartment we viewed had a rooftop terrace that would be perfect for entertaining guests who’ll be able to soak in the stunning scenery. There’s also a lot of storage space in the apartments, so guests will be able to bring as much or as little as they like. A few of the apartments have huge wardrobe space, providing that extra room for families or individuals who pack heavily.

Amendment; since the publishing of this blog, this property no longer has standard studio apartments, only premium studios. Go Native has also re-branded to Native.
