SilverDoor are looking for a driven and dedicated Senior Recruitment Specialist to join the team to deliver recruitment results across our international offices, and to continue to build our success. SilverDoor has a wonderful and vibrant culture, so we are looking for someone who has the personality and enthusiasm to carry that throughout the recruitment process.

As a Senior Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for our hiring strategy, ensuring that we attract top talent for all levels within the business, and creating a strong employer brand that connects with candidates. This is a hands-on role so you will manage the recruitment process throughout the group and most of your time will be spent speaking with candidates and coordinating interviews. You will be the go-to person for recruitment in our team, ensuring that every candidate feels valued and informed and that company talent needs are met.

The Role.

Responsibilities: 

  • Recruitment for all levels: Lead and manage recruitment for a wide range of roles across the business, from entry-level to senior positions, ensuring that we find the perfect fit for every team
  • Screening and selection: With the recruitment specialist, you will be screening all applications received to ensure that only the most qualified candidates move forward in the recruitment process, conduct screening calls, coordinate interviews, and gather feedback from hiring managers
  • Candidate experience: You'll be at the forefront of ensuring an exceptional and consistent candidate experience is delivered. From initial contact to final interview, you'll ensure every candidate feels respected, informed, and engaged regardless of the outcome of their application
  • Employer branding: Partnering with the marketing team you will be responsible for developing our employer brand via recruitment campaigns, social media, outreach, and industry events, promoting our SilverDoor culture for everyone to see.
  • Talent sourcing: Actively source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, direct channels, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions. You will need to manage relationships that deliver results with recruitment agencies, job boards and education providers.
  • Collaboration and strategy: Collaborate with hiring managers across our global offices to understand the needs of the business. Develop and implement strategies that align with our growth goals in attracting top talent. You'll be the bridge connecting teams across regions, ensuring a consistent and smooth recruitment process globally, and all hiring managers and senior management are kept fully updated in terms of progress. 
  • University academy programme: Manage the full recruitment cycle of the SilverDoor academy placement programme, managing relationships with university contacts, attending placement fairs, and conducting a full recruitment campaign on an annual basis.
  • Compliance: You must ensure that recruitment activities always comply with legal requirements and best practices
  • Recruitment admin: Manage job descriptions and job portals, internal communication of appointments, research and deliver annual benchmarking salary data for the company, oversee the management of all recruitment data and reporting
  • Team management: Managerial responsibility of our Recruitment Specialist, conducting appraisals, performance reviews and managing their development

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years proven recruitment experience (in-house or agency)
  • Recruitment and selection techniques, processes and procedures
  • Experience of international recruitment
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, with the ability to identify and engage with passive candidates
  • Experience of placing new hires in a variety of positions up to and including senior management level 
  • Experience of recruitment within the travel sector (desirable)

Skills:

  • Ability to work under own initiative with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Can prioritise and manage daily workloads 
  • Ability to build strong relationships, engage with hiring managers and work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels
