The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for supporting the management and operational administration of SilverDoor's purchase ledge workload under the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager.

The Role.

Join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and enjoys collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and post property partner invoices, credit notes, and statements in line with established procedures.
Maintain exceptional communication with property partners, ensuring seamless financial administration and relationship management.
Proactively identify and resolve invoice and statement discrepancies in a timely manner.
Highlight potential financial issues to the Accounts Payable Manager to prevent disruptions.
Prepare and issue company commission invoices accurately.
Support with the weekly property partner payment run for authorisation.
Ensure purchase ledge accounts are consistently reconcile and up to date.
Build strong professional relationships with the Account Management and Partner Relationships teams by understanding their processed, service commitments, and commercial terms.
Provide support to the Finance Manager in absence of the Accounts Payable Manager and develop a strong understanding of the finance department's strategic goals and reporting requirements.

Experience:

2+ years of relevant finance operational/transactional experience
A degree with a Finance focus, e.g: Accounting & Finance, Economics, Maths, Finance & Business
A sound knowledge of supplier payment processes
Relevant experience of Sage 200 accounts

Skills:

Has excellent verbal and written English
Has good numeracy skills and advanced Excel knowledge
Has problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to business
Has a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
