The HR Executive role will act as a trusted advisor, providing advice and support to the company. The role will be hands-on and operational,  supporting teams in the UK, as well as our international offices.

The Role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance in all areas of the employee lifecycle including performance management, absence management, disciplinaries, and people management.
  • Build trusted and credible relationships with our global team, partnering with our people managers
  • Lead on employee relations cases, escalating cases when required
  • Proactively review and address absenteeism
  • Coach our people managers on ER process
  • Partner with people managers to support throughout the probationary period of new starters
  • Assist with any HR queries, promoting and advising on our people policies
  • Manage family leave processes
  • Deliver effective onboarding and offboarding processes including holding exit interviews and conducting company induction sessions
  • Assist with recruitment by conducting HR stage interviews
  • Assist the HR team in various annual processes such as performance reviews, compliance audits, recruitment of our academy programme, and salary benchmarking
  • In conjunction with the senior HR team, create and review HR policies, procedures, and handbooks throughout our global offices
  • Conduct regular HR audits, ensuring compliance and best practice 
  • Generate people data reports
  • Support with immigration matters of current employees and candidates
  • Maintain responsibility for the entry, maintenance, and integrity of data in HR systems 
  • Provide training, guidance and development to our HR Administrator 
  • Support with team engagement activities

Required Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in fast-paced generalist HR role
  • Proven experience managing ER cases is a must
  • Sound understanding and execution of HR policies and procedures
  • Full understanding of UK legislation
  • Skilled in interpreting policies and procedures to provide pragmatic solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and varying levels of seniority
  • Able to emphatically navigate conversations and scenarios 
  • Ability to work in a flexible HR environment
  • Detailed and takes pride in completing work to a high standard 
  • Ability to multitask, effectively prioritise and manage workloads 

Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification or significant HR experience in a senior position
